5/01/08 Lots of new updates to website!
I'm now offering Manufacturing consulting by phone or in-house. My
advantage is working with lots and lots of shops. I've seen the best
methods and the worst methods. Take advantage of this! Whether it's
advice on the best software, best practices, methodologies, or just an
idea you want to throw around, I'm here to help. My specialty is
extremely complex 5-axis milling for the aerospace industry and I've
worked with some of the biggest shops around. But don't let that
intimidate you smaller shops. While I'm in the middle of a 400 hour
project 5-axis programming a piece of titanium 200 inches long, I
appreciate the break and it's nice to throw in some simple jobs!
I'd also like to use this random space to say THANKS! to all of my
customers! I've enjoyed working with/for you and I appreciate all the
repeat business and great recommendations. I'm happy to be of
service, and I really do enjoy working with you all. I consider you all to
be of the finest minds in the industry, and the knowledge we've shared
is priceless to me.
I also want to thank all of my friends in the industry.
NCdata services has been invaluable to supporting my post-processing
needs. I have used at least 5 different systems, and this is undoubtedly
the BEST! With the user configurable posts, I have the best of both
worlds- Stand-alone executable posts, AND the ability to modify multiple
configurations for different machines! A busy programmer like me just
doesn't have time to manage post processors for the over 50 different
machines types I currently support. I never have to edit a single word of
my NC programs. Hard to believe, but with this post it just comes out
perfect! And all those cool extras that come with the posts...the support
is fantastic and I don't know how I ever got along before!
Gencad Systems has also been an integral part of my network. Thanks
for automating tons of repetitive tasks in Catia for me. You literally
shave hours and hours off of each programming job, have virtually
eliminated most of the common "human" errors in document creation,
and I was so fortunate to find a company with both expert knowlege of
VBscripting AND Catia manufacturing!
CAMCOE has been an invaluable source of knowlege. I don't think
there's anyone out there that knows more about Catia and it's role in the
manufacturing environment. I highly recommend these guys to any
company looking to get into Catia manufacturing.
Metal Hound is a real up and coming website dedicated to staffing the
manufacturing community. Unlike most staffing agencies, this one is
run by an EXPERT programmer with decades of experience in the
machining industry. AND he really knows his stuff! Thanks Gary!
Unfortunately, I couldn't possibly thank each and every one of you
personally on this page, so if you don't see your name here- please
know that I am grateful.
