Capabilities

Built for custom machine output, not limited by a generic post-builder screen.

TPPOST uses a reusable post-processing engine with machine-specific option modules, registers, and macros so each delivered post can match the machine, control, and shop workflow. Special thanks to Larry Jones of NC Data Services. God's grace is sufficient.

Machine Kinematics

TPPOST supports standard and unusual CNC machine layouts, including 3-axis mills, 4-axis mills, multi-axis mills, table/table, table/head, head/head, lathe, mill-turn, EDM, waterjet, flame-cutters, routers, specialty attachments, 90-degree heads, and slave rotary applications.

CAM System Input

TPPOST is native to ANSI CL/APT style input and supports other CAM output formats through conversion workflows. Mastercam NCI to APT conversion is available through True Precision tooling.

Controller Output

Posts are built for Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, Haas, Fadal, Okuma, Mazak, and other machine-control dialects. Machine-specific registers and macros make controller format changes direct and maintainable.

Advanced Machine Behavior

TPPOST supports the high-value details that matter on complex machines: tilted workplanes, local coordinate systems, rotary limits, 4 methods for calculating accurate inverse time, clearance and repositioning logic, automatic feedrate adjustment, clearance awareness and automatic collision avoidance, a powerful linearization algorithm (LINTOL) for all machine kinematics, automatic stop with message control at set cut times (TMARK), awareness of positioning versus cutting motions and time, cycles, cutter compensation, specialty heads, lathe and mill-turn behavior, and machine-specific safety output. Post processors are highly configurable.

Technical differentiators

Fast posting and careful multi-axis motion control.

Compiled Stand-Alone Speed

TPPOST posts are delivered as compiled stand-alone executables, so they post quickly and do not require a separate post-builder engine at the customer site.

Advanced LINTOL

TPPOST includes an advanced LINTOL algorithm for high-quality linearization of rotary motion, especially on multi-axis work and 90-degree head applications.

Production-Ready Review

Posts are reviewed with production-style programs, diagnostics, customer examples, and machine simulation when appropriate.

Deployment

Simple for the customer.

A delivered TPPOST package is built around stand-alone executable posts. The customer does not need to buy a post-builder, install a development compiler, maintain a macro database, or learn a proprietary post language.

TPPOST dispatcherLaunches the correct licensed machine post from the input program.
Machine-numbered postsSeparate executable posts keep each machine configuration clear.
Workbench GUIIncluded customer-facing GUI for single-file posting, multi-file queue posting, output review, and support bundles.
License Server Manager GUIIncluded GUI for managing floating license server status, service actions, and license support bundles.

Proof and documentation

Delivered with production-minded proof and clear user guides.

Production Proof

Output is reviewed with production-style programs, listing diagnostics, real customer examples, and True Precision's own 30 years of NC programming support experience.

VERICUT Support

Owned VERICUT licenses, hundreds of proven simulation projects, and customer-supplied VERICUT projects can support post proof when appropriate.

Hyperlinked PDF Guides

Each post includes an easy-to-understand user guide in hyperlinked PDF format for setup, running, commands, output files, and troubleshooting.
